Who we are

This website is operated by X Electric ("we", "us"), an electrical contractor based in Tampa, Florida. You can reach us at (813) 833-9854 or [email protected].

Information you give us

When you call us, use our estimate request form, or chat with our website assistant, we collect the information you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email, address, and details about your electrical project. We use it only to call you back, answer your questions, give estimates, schedule work, and provide our services. This website has no user accounts.

Website chat assistant

The chat window on our website is an automated assistant, not a person. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic, PBC, which provides the AI service that writes the replies, and are processed under Anthropic's commercial terms, which do not allow your messages to be used to train its models. When the assistant takes down a callback request, it emails the details to our office. The conversation is kept in your browser only while the page is open. Please do not share payment details or other sensitive information in the chat. See the Anthropic Privacy Policy.

Email delivery

Estimate requests and chat callback requests are delivered to our office by email through Resend, an email delivery service, which processes the details you submit only to deliver them to us.

Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager

We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, services provided by Google LLC, to understand how the website is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you visit, how you reached our site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (city or region). We also record when visitors tap our phone number, click "Request Estimate," open the chat, or send the estimate form, so we can see which pages are most helpful. This information does not include your name or contact details. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Hosting

Our website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. To deliver pages securely and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us run our website and business (Cloudflare, Google, Anthropic and Resend, as described above), or when required by law.

How long we keep information

We keep customer information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and warranty requirements.

Your choices

Call or email us to ask what information we have about you, or to ask us to correct or delete it.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
