Common problems we fix

Breakers that keep tripping, outlets or rooms that lost power, flickering or dimming lights, warm or buzzing outlets and switches, GFCI outlets that won't reset, and partial power loss after a storm. If you smell burning or see scorch marks, turn off the breaker and call right away.

We work throughout Tampa, including South Tampa, Hyde Park, Davis Islands, Westchase, Odessa, and Lutz.

Service Calls FAQs

Why does my breaker keep tripping?

Usually it's an overloaded circuit, a short, or a ground fault. Sometimes the breaker itself is worn out. Repeated tripping is a warning sign, so it's worth having it checked instead of resetting it over and over.

What should I do if part of my house lost power?

Check your panel for tripped breakers and reset any GFCI outlets. If that doesn't restore power, or the breaker trips again right away, call us. A partial outage can point to a loose connection or a failing breaker.

Is a warm outlet or switch dangerous?

It can be. Outlets and switches shouldn't feel warm. Heat usually means a loose connection or an overloaded circuit. Stop using it and have it checked.
